Historic moment for church fundraisers

Sales of a book on the history of Little Waldingfield from 1840 to 2014 have already made more than £5,000 for the village’s St Lawrence Church.

The authors, members of Little Waldingfield History Society, presented a cheque to rector the Rev Judith Sweetman, who said: “We are thrilled to receive this and congratulate everyone involved. We have just had some essential repairs costed at about £10,000, so to have half of it paid for already is a real Christmas present.”
