Hotel hopes to raise £30k
A hotel and restaurant hopes to raise £30,000 by holding two charity raffles as part of its 30th anniversary celebrations.
The Great House in Lavenham is holding the events in aid of East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices.
Tickets will be available throughout the year, with the first draw taking place on June 25, and the second just before Christmas 2015.
Prizes will include the exclusive use of the award-winning Great House for 10 people to enjoy dinner, as well as an overnight stay in its luxurious bedrooms; a week in the beautiful Lune de Niel villa on the French Riviera, which sleeps eight; and dinner for four at The Great House.
Tickets can be purchased for £10 and will be on offer for customers at the Market Place restaurant.
Regis Crepy, proprietor of The Great House, said: “As we celebrate 30 years in Suffolk, we wanted to dedicate this significant occasion to a local charity that is close to our hearts and so nominated Each, which raises funds for children with life-threatening illness and their families in Suffolk.”
The draws will be made at black tie events next year.
