The annual carol concert by the Sudbury Choral Society brought around 200 visitors to enjoy songs and readings based around the 1914 Christmas Day truce.
On Sunday, St Peter’s was filled with eager listeners.
Choral society chairman Gareth Cole, from Great Cornard, said the concert was well-received by the crowd of visitors.
“We started planning this back in September,” he said. “It has grown over the last few weeks – it is quite amazing.
“The choir enjoyed singing and the readings were quite thought-provoking.”
The group chose the theme to mark the centenary anniversary since the Christmas Day truce.
