Long Melford woman hands over cash to fraudster in Sudbury McDonald's car park

An investigation has been launched after a woman handed over large amounts of cash to fraudsters in a McDonald's car park.

The woman, from Long Melford, gave money in an envelope to a bogus courier in the car park of McDonald's in Sudbury.

The incident is believed to have taken place between 12.45pm on June 7 and 3.30pm on June 8.

Anyone who witnessed either of these incidents or who has dashcam footage is asked to contact Suffolk Police, quoting crime reference 37/35680/22.
