Lots of activities on offer at library
Hadleigh Library has put on a number of activities for young and old in the coming weeks.
On Wednesday, the library will host guest speaker John Field, compiler of the annual Giles cartoon collection for Express Newspapers.
Mr Field will be giving a talk on Giles and his adopted town of Ipswich from 7pm. Tickets cost £5.
For budding spies and code breakers of all ages, the library is then hosting a special free coded message-themed event on March 21, from 10am to 1pm.
The event, part of National Science Week, will give lessons in writing in code, and in decoding, with a range of codes to crack.
There will also be lessons in Morse code, while the library will be exhibiting a working radio from the Second World War.
Hadleigh’s bumper month finishes on April 1, when Creative Arts East and Norwich Puppet Theatre will perform Red Riding Hood.
The event starts at 2pm and costs £5.
