Man taken to hospital following crash on B1115 at Monks Eleigh

Emergency services were called to the B1115 at Monks Eleigh earlier today following a crash.

The fire service was called just after 7am this morning to assist the police and ambulance with removing a man from a vehicle following the collision.

An East of England ambulance service spokesperson said: "We sent an ambulance to the B1115 after receiving reports of a collision shortly before 7am today.

"Crews treated a male patient at the scene before transporting him to West Suffolk Hospital for further assessment and care."

A Suffolk Police spokesperson said the driver suffered spinal and shoulder injuries and a cut to the head.

They added the vehicle was recovered at 9.30am.
