Man cut with knife in Gregory Street Sudbury as police launch investigation
A man was cut with a knife in a targeted attack in a town street, prompting Suffolk Police to launch an investigation.
The incident took place in the Gregory Street/Walnut Tree Lane area of Sudbury at about 10pm on Tuesday March 28.
A 20-year-old was cut with a knife on the right side of his body, above his hip.
The injury was not deemed life changing or life threatening.
Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen a group of around three men in the area at the time of the incident.
Officers believe this was a targeted attack where the people involved knew each other.
