Man arrested in Halstead after modified baseball bat and two knives seized from vehicle

A man has been arrested in Halstead, after police seized a number of prohibited weapons at the weekend.

The Essex Police Operational Support Group (OSG) stopped a vehicle in Parsonage Street on Sunday at 8pm.

After searching the vehicle, they seized three weapons, including a modified baseball bat and two knives.

The 41-year-old was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon, drug driving and possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
