Musical talent on show at festival

The music section of the 93rd annual Sudbury Festival of Performing Arts began on Tuesday, with youngsters of all ages taking to the stage.

Performers taking part in the six-day competition at the Delphi Club were judged by Graeme Humphrey in a series of classes, including vocal solos, piano solos, family duets and choir performances.

Various awards were on offer, as well as the opportunity to perform in a finale concert at Ormiston Sudbury Academy on March 22 at 3pm.
