BiNibabies baby and toddler shop opens in Sudbury
A new shop for baby and toddler clothes and accessories has opened in Sudbury.
BiNibabies & Kids Boutique opened in Gaol Lane last week under the ownership of Nikki Collier, who first ran the shop as a pop-up store during June, July and August.
She said she decided to open a permanent store after feedback from customers.
“Trade went okay while I was running the pop-up but people were only just coming out of lockdown at the time,” said Nikki.
“I had been thinking about opening a shop in Sudbury for some time and wanted to test the water first. It is a great venue.
“What convinced me to open a permanent shop was the feedback from people who said they would really appreciate a baby and toddler shop, so I went ahead.”
Nikki, who runs a Binibabies shop in Halstead, sells baby and children’s wear, as well as accessories and items for everyday childcare.
The new Sudbury shop has a play area for children and a relaxation area for mum’s to have a cup of tea.
“Word is already getting around amongst mums who know they can just pop in for a chat and a get-together,” said Nikki.
“Our motto is great, quality service, quality brands with a touch of coolness and relaxation.” BiNibabies sells a wide range of items with a focus on sustainable fashion.
The stock is a mix of traditional and contemporary, including dresses, blouses, nightwear, hats and shoes, and will be changed every two weeks.
Prices range from £5 to £55. Nikki has just launched her own range of socks made from organic cotton.
Toys in her shop are also made from natural materials.
“All of our stock is high-quality, sustainable fashion, which means it is made to last,” said Nikki. “It’s what we call slow fashion as opposed to fast fashion, which doesn’t last as long.
"We are a little boutique, but with a big heart.”
