Making moves to improve people’s health and wellbeing with a yoga class was the aim of library staff in Sudbury and Hadleigh on Sunday.

The libraries were taking part in a new countywide initiative by Suffolk Libraries called Super Happy Sunday.

Along with craft sessions, the event was about focussing on improving people’s health and happiness at what can be a gloomy time of year.

Suffolk Libraries spokesman James Powell said: “It’s the first year we’ve done this and it was very successful.

“It was all about giving people a boost at this time of year and improving people’s health and happiness. It’s something that’s good for us and good for the community.”

Having teamed up with organisations and businesses supporting the event, there were also free leisure centre passes and shopping vouchers on offer.
