New pictures show film crews working in Lavenham today as they record footage for Netflix project 'Coldharbour Lane'
Lavenham has been a hive of activity today, as filming continues for a secretive Netflix project believed to be called Coldharbour Lane.
Film crews and actors could be seen in the village's Market Square, which was closed to drivers while footage is shot.
Pictures from earlier today show a large number of production crew members with specialist equipment and cameras, and actors filming scenes walking down the village streets.
From 11pm last night until 8pm this evening, roads surrounding Market Square, including Prentice Street, Market Lane, Lady Street and Barn Street, were be closed.
All businesses in the area have been allowed to remain open during this time.
Lavenham Blue vintage tea rooms were also used for filming, and it is understood they were given a bit of a makeover to fit with the theme of the film.
Tearoom owner, Amanda, wrote in a statement on her website: "This is a great compliment to my tearooms and we are very proud to have been chosen to be part of such an exciting and different world for a few days."
Residents were also asked to use alternative parking provided by the crew on the routes involved in filming.
It is understood the crew have been staying in Ipswich.
