LEARN MOREPlans for a new home development in Hadleigh were approved last night despite opposition.
The Weavers Meadow site plans, submitted by housebuilding company Persimmon, propose to build 273 dwellings as well as a main access road to the development and roads on the estate.
It includes approximately 5.5 hectares of land south of Tower Mill Lane and east of Frog Hall Lane.
The proposal will also see the creation of public open spaces and landscaping.
During last night's Babergh Planning Committee, approval was given to the plans allowing the development to move forward.
