SuffolkNews Podcast: Man dies after crash in Bloomfield Street, Ipswich

In today's podcast, we have the news of a man who has died in a crash involving five vehicles in Ipswich.

Emergency services were called to Bloomfield Street at 6.05pm last Wednesday after reports that a Skoda Fabia had collided with a parked car.

The collision caused three other parked cars to be damaged.

The driver of the Skoda, a man in his 70s, was taken to hospital for treatment, but died on Saturday.

Officers believe he suffered a medical episode before the collision.

Meanwhile, a post office in a Suffolk village was targeted in an armed robbery on Friday.

A man entered Lavenham post office, in Lady Street, armed with a crowbar at 11.25am and demanded money.

He then made off in a grey/silver SEAT with £600.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Suffolk Police quoting crime reference 37/48339/22.

A man has been airlifted to hospital after a single-vehicle crash near Stowmarket.

Emergency services were called to the collision, in Needham Road, Combs Ford, at 1.10pm on Saturday.

The man was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge as a result of his injuries.
