Police investigate New Year’s Eve sexual assault in Hadleigh

Police are investigating a reported sexual assault in Hadleigh on New Year’s Eve.

Officers were contacted at 8.35pm on Wednesday by ambulance crews who were concerned for a distressed woman.

A spokeswoman for Suffolk Police said “We are investigating a report of a sexual assault in Pykenham Way, Hadleigh.

“A crime scene has been set up and anyone with information should contact police on 101.”
