Taste of East Anglia food and drink festival returning to Kentwell Hall in Long Melford, near Sudbury

A popular food and drink festival is set to return to a country estate in Suffolk.

Kentwell Hall in Long Melford, near Sudbury, will be hosting the Taste Of East Anglia Food and Drink Festival on Saturday, June 14.

The one-day event displays the best the region has to offer with more than 80 stalls selling a selection of regional, artisan food and drink products, as well as street food, local craft ales, cocktails and plenty of fizz.

Newly introduced this year is a wine tasting and talk area where guests can sample some of the region's wines.

Nethergate Brewery is also a new addition to the festival and they will be serving their award-winning beers.

John Jackman, of Infusions in Bury St Edmunds, will be returning to the festival's Kitchen Theatre after missing the festival last year due to illness.

Justine Paul, part of the team at Suffolk Market Events that runs the festival, said: "Supporting local producers and celebrating local food and drink has been the core focus of the festival for several years. We have got some new ideas for features at the festival in 2025 and they are beginning to take shape.”

Further details on the full chef line-up and attending traders will be announced at a later date.

Early bird tickets offering entry for £8 are available until February 14.
