Admiral Taverns offered opportunity to run the Horse and Groom in Sudbury and Chestnut Horse, near Stowmarket




A pub group is on the hunt to find individuals or couples to run two venues in Suffolk.

The Chestnut Horse in Great Finborough, near Stowmarket, and the Horse and Groom, in Sudbury both need new licensees.

Admiral Taverns, which has pubs across the UK, is looking for people with a passion for the pub trade who have a vision to create a pillar of the community.

Anyone interested in the opportunity to run one of the pubs can register interest online here.

In August, Ashley Webb said he would be running the Horse and Groom in Sudbury, alongside his family, until a new licensee could be found.

At the time, Ashley said: “Whoever takes over will be taking on a fantastic pub with a fantastic regular base and teams.
