Quiz night raises £1,200 for centre

An annual quiz night raised more than £1,200 for a Sudbury counselling charity.

Around 130 people took part in the event at Long Melford Village Hall in aid of the Kernos Centre.

Clinical director Chris Boatwright thanked the volunteers who organised the evening.

She added: “The money raised by this annual event means a tremendous amount to us – it allows us to continue to provide much-needed counselling to people in our community.”
