A1071 at Hintlesham reopens after crash between motorbike and three cars

The A1071 has reopened after a crash between a motorbike and three cars yesterday evening.

Emergency crews were called to the scene of the serious collision at Hintlesham, which was initially believed to have involved a motorbike and one car, at around 5.35pm.

The road was closed in both directions while investigations were carried out.

Police later confirmed that a 33-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Drivers were advised to find alternative routes.

The road has since reopened.

Witnesses should call 101 quoting CAD 288 of March 29.
