Producers of the BBC One programme Songs of Praise are looking for local, enthusiastic people to get involved in the evening of hymns, which will be recorded at Holy Trinity Church in Long Melford on Tuesday, July 19.

The show, which is regularly presented by Aled Jones, Katherine Jenkins and Rev Kate Bottley, among others, has been broadcast since 1961.
