Sudbury's India Restaurant on North Street wins Euro Asia Curry Award

An Indian restaurant in Sudbury has won an accolade in the Euro Asia Curry Awards.

India Restaurant on North Street bagged the Best Restaurant in Suffolk Award in the ceremony held in Romford last week.

Luthfur Rahman, owner of India Restaurant, said he and his staff are extremely proud to have won and that they had a wonderful night at the ceremony.

He said: "It feels amazing to have this recognition. It seems 30 years of hard work, the passion, the love and commitment has paid off.

"The quality of our food is our trade mark, offering our guests a sophisticated dining experience.

"Thanks to my family, friends and colleagues for all their support."

The awards were developed by award-winning chef Shorif Khan, who has run multiple restaurants and managed many events in the UK.
