Suspected cocaine dealer Severin Ivanov appears before Suffolk Magistrates’ Court after vehicle stopped in Long Melford, near Sudbury




A suspected cocaine dealer has been charged after officers stopped a vehicle in a village near Sudbury.

On Tuesday, Suffolk Police pulled over a vehicle in Raile Walk, Long Melford.

During a search, what officers believed were class A drugs and a large quantity of cash were seized – with a man being arrested at 12.55pm.

He was taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

Officers said that 42-year-old Severin Ivanov, of no fixed address, has since been charged with possession of cocaine with intent to supply, alongside possession of criminal property.

He appeared before Suffolk Magistrates’ Court in Ipswich yesterday.

Ivanov was then remanded in custody and will appear before Ipswich Crown Court on February 14.
