Firefighters called to Sudbury’s Kingfisher Leisure Centre after woman gets trapped in gym equipment

Firefighters rescued a woman after she became trapped using gym equipment at a leisure centre in a Suffolk town.

Crews were called at 2.41pm today to a woman who had become trapped in gym equipment at the Kingfisher Leisure Centre in Sudbury.

A Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said she was released using small tools.

The incident was dealt with by 4.04pm.
