Teenagers released under investigation after search allegedly leads to drugs and cash seizure following Sudbury town centre chase

Two teenagers have been released under investigation after a police search allegedly led to the discovery of drugs and a ‘large quantity’ of cash.

The teenagers, aged 18 and 15, ran away from officers yesterday in Sudbury town centre.

Police found the two teenagers hiding behind some parked cars.

A Sudbury Police spokesperson said the pair were detained for searches which led to the discovery of Class B drugs.

A large quantity of cash, multiple phones and scales were also found.

The teenagers have been released under investigation while further work is carried out.
