Police appeal after assault with two men injured outside Sudbury pub




Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault in a Suffolk town after two men suffered injuries.

A man in his 20s, was asked to leave a pub on King Street in Sudbury and subsequently had an altercation with someone he knew outside who was also asked to leave.

Following the incident at 12.35am on Saturday, March 11, the man woke up the next day with an eye injury and injuries to his back.

At the time of the above incident a man, also in his 20s, had stepped in to break up a fight and was punched in the face, initially knocking him unconscious, and was taken to hospital for treatment but later discharged.
