King Street Sudbury two-vehicle crash sees police, fire and ambulance crews called
A two-vehicle crash in a key town-centre road that saw police, fire and ambulance crews called has caused traffic this morning.
Officers were alerted to the incident in King Street, Sudbury, at 10.40am.
A police spokesperson said at first it was thought that one person was trapped inside their car and fire crews were alerted.
The crews were stood down when the person was able to get out safely.
An ambulance is on the scene checking those involved for injuries.
The police spokesperson said there is currently nothing to suggest the injuries are serious.
According to AA Traffic Maps, heavy traffic is building in the area on Great Eastern Road, King Street and Newton Road.
