UPDATE: Man dies following serious collision between lorry and cyclist in Sudbury
A man has died, following a serious traffic collision between a lorry and cyclist in Sudbury this morning.
Emergency services were called out at approximately 10.05am, after a crash occurred on the A134, between the roundabout junction with Mills Lane and the B1064/A131.
A volunteer critical care paramedic and a volunteer critical care team from Suffolk Accident Rescue Service attended the scene, but the cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
Suffolk Police instituted a temporary closure on this stretch of the A134 to allow for a collision investigation, with traffic being diverted via Long Melford and Acton. The road re-opened at about 5pm.
