Ballingdon Valley Indian restaurant in Sudbury wins at the Curry Awards 2023

An Indian restaurant based in a Suffolk town has scooped a top honour at the Curry Awards 2023.
Ballingdon Valley in Sudbury won Best Restaurant of the Year in the national category.
Topon Alan, owner of Ballingdon Valley, said: “A big thank you to all our customers for voting for us. We are proud of our food and that the UK has taken curry to its heart.”
He continued: “This award will spur us on to keep improving.
“It was nice to sit down and get served for a change at the awards ceremony.”
The Curry Life Awards took place on October 15, in London, celebrating the UK’s multi-billion-pound curry industry and featured 44 awards across five categories.
These included Best Restaurant, Best Takeaway, Best Chef and Best Recommended Restaurant.
