Woman arrested at an address in Minden Road, Sudbury, after officers find and seize cannabis in Dover

A 39-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of importing controlled drugs after police found and seized a quantity of cannabis in Kent.

The woman was arrested yesterday after officers executed a drugs warrant at an address in Minden Road, Sudbury.

She was taken to Bury St Edmunds for questioning and released under investigation pending further inquiries.

The arrest follows the discovery of a quantity of cannabis seized at Dover on April 12.

A Facebook post on the Sudbury and Haverhill Police page said: “Officers will continue to work with our housing partners to tackle the long term issues associated with this address.

“We will continue tackling the issues which affect the community.”
