Woman in 80s injured after A1092 Melford Road, Cavendish, near Sudbury, fail-to-stop crash




A woman in her 80s was injured after a fail-to-stop collision in a village yesterday.

The woman was driving a Vauxhall Mokka on the A1092 Melford Road, in Cavendish, near Sudbury, which was involved in a crash with a heavy goods vehicle (HGV) at around 2.30pm.

The wing-mirror of the Vauxhall was damaged while the HGV failed to stop and the woman suffered minor injuries.

Officers would like to speak to anyone with information who may have witnessed the incident, including those who stopped to help the woman.
