Sudbury crash sees woman taken to hospital
A woman was taken to hospital with head and leg injuries earlier today following a crash in Sudbury.
The Suffolk Accident Rescue Service critical care team was mobilised to attend the collision in Great Eastern Road.
The incident involved a car and pedestrian and happened at around 11.54am.
The female patient was assessed at the scene by the SARS team for head and leg injuries and was later taken to hospital by ambulance.
Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
SARS is an emergency medical charity established in 1972.
It provides specially trained doctors and critical-care paramedics to assist the East of England Ambulance Service at the scenes of serious incidents.
