Young girl injured as van fails to stop following collision in Halstead

A young girl was injured after being struck by a van in Halstead, which failed to stop following the collision.

Essex Police are appealing for help to trace the small white van, which was involved in the collision in Parsonage Street shortly before 6.50pm on October 31.

The girl fortunately avoided any serious injuries as a result of the incident.

A police spokesman said they would like to speak to anybody who witnessed what happened, or who has any information about the van, which drove away the scene without stopping.

Anybody with CCTV, dashboard camera or doorbell footage of the collision is also urged to get in touch.
