POSTPONEMENTS: Matches off including Bury, Sudbury derby

The adverse weather conditions has got the better of the A134 derby between Bury Town and AFC Sudbury, which was due to be played at Ram Meadow this afternoon.

In the same league, the Julius Martin Lane pitch is waterlogged, meaning that Soham Town Rangers will have to rearrange their home game with Dereham Town.

Meanwhile, in the Ryman League Premier Division, struggling Needham Market have had their trip to Canvey Island called off.

Elsewhere, in the Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division, Walsham-le-Willows’ home game against table-toppers Norwich United has been postponed, as has Thetford Town’s trip to Fakenham Town.

Also off is Newmarket Town’s away match at high-flying Godmanchester Rovers along with the clash between Long Melford and Haverhill Rovers.

The First Division encounter between Haverhill Borough and Leiston Reserves has also fallen victim to the storm, just like the derby between Cornard United and Halstead Town.

Second from bottom Team Bury have also been spared a trip to league leaders Wivenhoe Town.
