Sudbury head to Ruislip for first game back in London One North
Sudbury Rugby Club will begin lift back in London League One North with a trip to west London to face Ruislip on September 1.
The 2018/19 fixture list has thrown up a tantalising Suffolk/Essex derby for Whittome Field to welcome level 6 rugby back to Great Cornard, with Colchester visiting on September 8.
The last home game before the festive break, where the club hosts its Christmas meal, will be the visit of Diss on December 1, with two away matches (Old Priorians Dec 8 and Colchester Dec 15) following.
Ben Scully’s side were promoted up to level 6 of the English system following a 37-7 play-off final victory at Hampstead, after finishing second in London Two North East.
It followed relegation from London One North under Scully, also the Norwegian national team coach, the season before.
Sudbury will end the campaign at home to Old Priorians.
