Suffolk under-18 squad is named ahead of Norfolk clash

More news, no ads

Haverhill have no fewer than five representatives in the latest Suffolk FA Under-18 squad for the forthcoming game against Norfolk.

Needham Market (four players), AFC Sudbury (four players) and Bury Town (one player) will also be represented for the game at Walmer Road, home of Kirkley & Pakefield FC, on Thursday, January 14 (7.30pm).

The game sees Lawrence Healey return to the squad.

Healey has not appeared for Suffolk since the opening game of the campaign – a 5-2 victory over Cambridgeshire FA in Suffolk’s only East Anglian Counties Championship so far this season.

The Haverhill Rovers winger, who was ruled out for a couple of months earlier this season through injury, was included in the squad for the County Youth Cup match against Middlesex FA in early December, but didn’t make the final 16.

Suffolk FA squad: Tyler Hursey, Taylor Bannister, Jake Dye, Will Crisell (all Needham Market), Wayne Blackman, Stefano Mallardo, James Baughurst, James Axcell (all AFC Sudbury), George Mrozek (Hadleigh Utd), Will Gardner, James Philp, Tyrone Alleyne, Rhys Shulver, Lawrence Healey (all Haverhill Rovers), Luke Mallett (Braintree Town), Ryan Yallop (Bury Town).
