Mildenhall Town will begin the defence of their Thurlow Nunn League Challenge Cup trophy with a home clash against Thetford Town.

Dean Greygoose’s men triumphed in last season’s final thanks to a 2-1 victory against league champions Norwich United.

They have been placed straight into the second round of the 2016-17 instalment, with local rivals Thetford visiting Recreation Way on November 1.

Elsewhere in round one, Halstead Town and Walsham-le-Willows face Saffron Walden Town and Framlingham Town respectively.

In the second round, one of the stand-out ties is a local derby between Stowmarket Town and Diss Town.
