Body found in Santon Downham, near Thetford, in search for missing 60-year-old man

Police searching for a missing man in Santon Downham, near Thetford, have confirmed a body has been found.

The discovery was made at about 5.30pm today by a member of the public.

Whilst formal identification is yet to take place, the family of 60-year-old John Crook, who had been reported missing on Saturday, have been informed.

The death is not thought to be suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner in due course.
