Firefighters from Norfolk and Suffolk alerted to building fire in Castle Street, Thetford

Firefighters have been alerted to a building fire in a Norfolk town.

Four crews from Norfolk and Suffolk attended a fire within a commercial building in Castle Street, Thetford, at 11.43am.

Breathing equipment and hose reel jets were used to extinguish the fire by crews from Bury St Edmunds, Mildenhall, Thetford and Watton.

A thermal imaging camera was used to check for hot spots.

There are no reported injures and everyone from the building was accounted for.

A stop was called at 12.11pm.
