1990s rock band James announced as latest Forest Live at Thetford Forest headliner
Indie band James have been revealed as the latest headliner for Forest Live’s 2025 gigs.
The Manchester hit-makers, who have sold more than 25 million records and had their heyday in the 1990s, will entertain crowds in Thetford Forest on June 19, 2025.
In their more than 40 years as a band they have released 18 albums, their most recent of which, 2024’s Yummy, earned them their first UK number one.
In addition to tunes from their latest outing, concert-goers will be able to enjoy hits like ‘Come Home’, ‘Sit Down’, ‘Sometimes’, ‘She’s A Star’, ‘Born Of Frustration’ and ‘Laid’.
They are set to be supported by alt-rock and Britpop heroes Shed Seven alongside Liverpool folk Jamie Webster.
Shed Seven will entertain crowds fresh from their second number one album of the year.
Singer Rick Witter said the team were thrilled to play at Forest Live alongside James.
He said: “Not only will it be magical in such magnificent surroundings, but it’s also a great way of helping to raise money to put into the forest to help sustain it.
“Trees and rock and roll. See you down the front.”
Tickets go on sale from 10am on Friday 15 November.
Other acts confirmed for Forest Live include the soulful voice of Rag’n’Bone Man and Irish pop-rockers The Script.
Sting, Blossoms and Snow Patrol have also been confirmed.
