NEXT advertises for team members as new Thetford store’s opening approaches

A national retailer’s new opening in Thetford is a step closer, as the chain advertises for staff.

NEXT, which is opening at the Forest Retail Park, is recruiting for the roles of part-time team member and team member (delivery), with the pay rate ranging from £8.03-£12.21 per hour.

No opening date for the new store has yet been confirmed.

In December, NEXT announced its intention to open in the unit formerly occupied by Carpetright. At that time, the retailer said it was aiming to open the store in the second quarter of this year.

The new shop is expected to create 25 jobs – equivalent to 15 to 17 full-time posts.

In February, Breckland District Council approved plans to change the unit, with alterations to the front elevation to include glazed windows, while a mezzanine floor would be added inside.
