This follows a warrant conducted on November 12 at a property in Guildford Way, where officers found Buxton with a mobile phone and almost an ounce of cocaine - both hidden down his trousers.

Investigations of the phone showed he had been supplying cocaine in Thetford for around a year.

Buxton was arrested, charged and put before the courts.

While on court bail he continued to deal drugs so was arrested again and this time remanded by the court until sentencing. At the hearing he was sentenced to 40 months of imprisonment.

Investigating officer Sergeant Daniel Shelley said: “Drugs have a hugely detrimental impact on our communities and we are committed to doing all we can to ensure that those involved in the supply of drugs are held accountable.

"I hope the conviction of Keane Buxton sends out a warning to other dealers planning to target the Thetford area and would urge anyone with any information about suspected drug-related activity in their community to get in touch."
