New broadband provider Upp creates jobs in Diss




New broadband provider Upp has created 110 new jobs, with some in Diss, as it invests in broadband.

The new East of England firm has created the jobs as it looks to deliver high specification fibre to-the-home connection to homes and businesses across Norfolk and Lincolnshire.

Upp’s fibre optic connection will run directly into homes and businesses, meaning speed and reliability around the clock.

Upp's chief executive Drew Ritchie said: “We’re proud to be investing in underserved areas and looking forward to demonstrating what the future of broadband has to offer. We’ve already created close to 110 new jobs across Norfolk and Lincolnshire and we’re continuing to grow."
