Miles, Aaron and Robert Orvis, of Orvis Builders in Bury St Edmunds, complete ‘Only The Brave 2024’ at the Euston Estate in aid of East Anglian Air Ambulance
The owners of a building company completed a gruelling obstacle course run in aid of the East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA).
Miles, Aaron and Robert Orvis, of Orvis Builders in Bury St Edmunds, have so far raised £365 for the charity after doing the ‘Only The Brave 2024’ at the Euston Estate on September 22.
EAAA relies entirely on community support to continue its lifesaving work, with each mission costing an average of £3,750.
Miles said: “Completing the 'Only The Brave' challenge was a remarkable experience for our team.
“It was not just about overcoming physical obstacles, but also about coming together as a community to support a cause that saves lives every day.”
Miles added the team was ‘incredibly grateful’ for the support they had received, and he hoped their participation motivated others to support EAAA.
Orvis Builders gave it thanks to everyone who supported its fund raising efforts.
It added, while the completion of the run marked a ‘significant achievement’, the journey to support EAAA was ongoing.
The company urged businesses and individuals to continue contributing to the cause.
Orvis Builders’ fund-raiser is still open – donations can be submitted here.
The date for the 2025 edition of ‘Only The Brave’ has been already been set for September 21.
