Pair charged after Thetford Police find £75,000 worth of cannabis in car boot after A11 stop





A pair of men have been charged after Thetford Police found £75,000 worth of cannabis in a car after it was stopped on Thursday.

Officers stopped a white BMW on the A11 and found the drugs in the boot of the car.

One man aged in his 20s and another man aged in his 30s were arrested and taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

Elmas Vreka, 20, from Brunswick Road, Sutton and Erenik Celaku, 35, from Hale End Road, London were charged with possession with intent to supply cannabis.

Celaku was also charged with driving while disqualified and driving without insurance.

They have been remanded in custody to appear at Ipswich Crown Court on December 18.
