Pair of drivers hospitalised after Shadwell collision




Following a serious collision on the A1066, Thetford Road yesterday, police are hoping the public might be able to help them find out what happened.

Officers were called just after 5:30pm to reports of a collision between a green VW Golf, and a grey Skoda Octavia.

The incident took place between Rushford and Thetford, within a temporary speed limit stretch of road.

Both male drivers sustained serious head and chest injuries, and were taken to hospital for treatment.

Officers are keen to hear from witnesses to the incident, or anyone who might have seen the manner of driving of either vehicle.
