Breckland Police hand out 15 speeding tickets to drivers in Brandon Road, Thetford

Officers handed out 15 speeding tickets to drivers travelling on a road between two towns.

Breckland Police attended Brandon Road in Thetford for 90 minutes yesterday, with one motorist spotted doing 43mph in a 30pmh limit.

Officers also gave out words of advice to six drivers on the route between Brandon and Thetford.

A spokesperson for Breckland Police said on social media: “Thank you to those of you who came up to show your support to the officers and say how much the speeding there concerns you.”
