Section of A1066, between Thetford and Diss, closed following serious single-vehicle collision

A road is closed and emergency services are on the scene of a serious single-vehicle collision.

Norfolk Police and the county’s fire and rescue service were called to the A1066, between Thetford and Diss, at around 11.40am.

An air ambulance has also attended the collision, believed to be near the junction to Shadwell.

A Norfolk Police spokesperson said the road is currently closed in both directions whilst emergency services attend with Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service saying units from Thetford and East Harling used hydraulic rescue equipment to get the occupants of the vehicle out.
