Thetford woman in her 30s dies after crash on A11 near Ketteringham




A woman has died following a crash on the A11 over the weekend — the second fatality after the incident.

The collision was at about 5.15am on Sunday near Ketteringham where police found a black Mini One had left the southbound carriageway and collided with a tree after the junction with Station Lane.

A rear passenger in the car, a woman in her 20s from Thetford, died at the scene.

Norfolk Police has confirmed the driver, a woman in her 30s from the town, who was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, also died yesterday.

Two other passengers, a woman in her 20s and a man in his 30s, were seriously injured and remain in hospital in a stable condition.

Norfolk Police is urging anyone who may have witnessed the collision to get in touch, quoting CAD 69 of November 3.
