A 17-year-old boy, who was previously charged with attempted murder following a stabbing in Thetford, has been charged with absconding from lawful custody.
The boy was arrested in Cambridgeshire yesterday after absconding from local authority care on Saturday, April 27.
He appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court today and was remanded into youth detention to appear at Norwich Crown Court on Thursday, May 23.
The arrest follows an incident in Thetford on March 10, when a man in his 30s suffered multiple stab wounds.
The 17-year-old was previously charged with attempted murder, alongside 18-year-old Elvis Price.
They are both due to appear at Norwich Crown Court on Thursday, May 23.
