Thetford stabbing: Elvis Price, 18, of Amulet Close, and 17-year-old appear at Norwich Magistrates’ Court charged with attempted murder
Two teenagers have appeared in court charged with attempted murder after a man was stabbed in Thetford.
Elvis Price, 18, of Amulet Close, Thetford, and a 17-year-old were arrested in Kent on Tuesday.
Price was later charged with attempted murder and possession of a bladed article.
He appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court yesterday along with the 17-year-old, who was also charged with attempted murder.
Officers were called to Bury Road at about 11.45am on March 10 to reports of a fight where a man in his 30s suffered multiple stab wounds
The victim was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge, with life-threatening injuries. His condition was critical but later stabilised.
After appearing in court, Price was remanded in custody until his next court appearance on May 23 at Norwich Crown Court.
The 17-year-old was remanded to local authority care until the same date when he will also appear at Norwich Crown Court.
